Custom home improvements
The job that's been on your list for a while: built-ins, a mudroom, a wall that should come out. If it makes your home better, we'll build it.

Basement finishes
Family rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, a kitchenette or room for guests. We take it from bare concrete to finished, with every trade lined up in the right order.

Interior renovations and fireplaces
From one room to a whole floor, plus fireplaces: stone, tile or wood surrounds, mantels, hearths and the built-ins on either side.

Decks and pergolas
New or rebuilt decks, and pergolas for the shade you'll want in July. Sized for how you'll actually use the space, and built for Utah sun, snow and wind.

Outdoor living spaces
Covered patios and seating areas that tie the yard to the house. Several trades and materials in one job, which is where one person in charge matters most.

A basement finish alone can touch a half dozen trades. We schedule them, check their work and answer for all of it. You get one phone number and one person on the other end.

We start by listening.
The first visit is a walkthrough, not a pitch. We go through your ideas, your budget and how you use the space. If something won't work the way you hope, we'll say so and offer a better option.

You always know what's next.
You'll have one number to call, answered by the person running your project. We tell you what's happening this week and what comes next, and if the schedule or price changes, you hear it from us first.

We care how it turns out.
We show up when we say we will, protect your floors and tidy up before we leave. When the work is done we walk every room with you, fix what you notice, and only call it done when you do.
Who you'll be working with
Kind Build Co. is run by Chandler Jensen, a builder based in Northern Utah.
Chandler Jensen is a Utah contractor and business owner with firsthand experience in construction sales, estimating, and project management. He has worked directly with homeowners, coordinated trades, and managed projects from the first conversation through the final walkthrough.
The name is a standard we hold ourselves to. We're straight with you about what things cost and how long they take, we return your calls, and we treat your home the way we'd want someone to treat ours.
We work across Northern Utah and the Wasatch Front. If you have a project in mind, we'd like to hear about it. No pressure and no sales pitch. Just a conversation about your home and what you want from it.
